FAQ

Questions, answered plainly

The things people usually ask before a consult. If yours is not here, ask it directly.

What does Planet Social Marketing actually do?

I build the marketing systems healthcare, diagnostics, and life sciences companies are missing: the message, the funnel, and the tracking. That covers rebrand and site-transfer protection, plain-language messaging, lifecycle email, paid and organic search, and analytics built from zero. The goal is simple: the people who need you can find you, and you can answer.

Who do you work with?

Healthcare technology companies, diagnostics and specialty labs, bio and life sciences organizations, clinics, and regulated health-adjacent businesses. I am based in Seattle and work with organizations across the United States.

How do engagements work?

Every engagement starts with a consult, then a written proposal that defines the scope, milestones, and fees. Work is paid in advance by milestone or deposit, and each phase is reviewed before the next begins. The full details live in the Terms of Service.

What do you charge?

It depends on the shape of the work. Defined projects, like an analytics build or a migration audit, are priced as projects. Ongoing work, like lifecycle email or campaign management, runs as a monthly retainer. Exact figures are set in the proposal after a consult, so you are never quoted for work that has not been scoped.

Do you guarantee results?

No, and you should be cautious of anyone in marketing who does. Markets, algorithms, and budgets all sit partly outside anyone's control. What I do commit to is defensible work, honest reporting, and measurement good enough that you can see exactly what is and is not working.

What tools do you work in?

Your stack, or a stack we choose together. The systems I build integrate with the tools a client already runs, from email platforms to analytics to ad networks, rather than forcing a switch. Common ground includes GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, and the major email and CRM platforms.

Are the case studies real?

The figures are real and come from work I actually did. Client identities are anonymized and described by market and category, and studies where the industry context was reframed carry a visible "Representative engagement" tag. Nothing is invented, and nothing is claimed without a source.

How does the refund policy work?

It is milestone-based. Work that has not started is refundable. Completed and in-progress milestones are not, because the work has been done. If a deliverable misses the agreed scope, the first remedy is a free revision. The full policy is on the Refund Policy page.

Do you only work with Seattle companies?

No. I am based in Seattle, which matters for local work like clinic and lab search visibility in the Pacific Northwest, but most engagements run remotely with organizations anywhere in the United States.

How do we start?

Book a consult through the contact page. Thirty minutes, no obligation. We look at where the people who need you are getting lost, and whether I am the right person to fix it.

Still deciding?

A healthy practice starts with a healthy funnel. A consult is where we find out what yours needs.
