Who we are
Planet Social Marketing is a marketing consultancy operated by Lacy-Hudson LLC, based in Seattle, Washington. You can reach us at brodricklacyhudson@gmail.com.
Information we collect
We collect information in three ways:
- Information you give us. When you subscribe to our email list, fill in a form, or contact us, we collect your name, email address, and anything else you choose to share.
- Information collected automatically. When you browse the site, we and our service providers collect standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and how you arrived, through cookies and similar technologies.
- Information from cookies. Cookies help the site function, remember preferences, and measure traffic. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
The tools and services we use
We rely on trusted third-party services to run the site and our email program. Each has its own privacy practices, and some process limited data on our behalf:
- Brevo manages our email subscriptions and sends our newsletters and automated sequences. When you subscribe, your name and email are stored and processed by Brevo.
- Google reCAPTCHA protects our forms from spam and automated abuse. It analyzes interaction signals (such as IP address and browser behavior) to distinguish people from bots, subject to Google's privacy policy and terms.
- Google Analytics 4 and Site Kit by Google measure site traffic and how visitors use the site, using cookies and aggregated reporting.
- Jetpack and WordPress.com (Automattic) provide hosting, security, and performance features, and may collect basic usage and security data.
- Akismet filters spam from comments and form submissions by analyzing submitted content.
- Rank Math supports search-engine optimization and may process limited technical data.
We do not sell your personal information.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiries and provide the services you request.
- To send newsletters, updates, and marketing emails you have subscribed to.
- To operate, secure, maintain, and improve the site.
- To understand how the site is used, in aggregate, so we can make it better.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Email and your choices
If you subscribe, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, or by emailing us. We use a confirmation process where required. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.
Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, or as required by law. Subscriber data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or limit the use of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise any of these, email us at brodricklacyhudson@gmail.com and we will respond as required by applicable law.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page.
